The obstetrics and gynecology unit has twelve beds and includes two private rooms, two double rooms, two three bed rooms. The obstetrics room has four Liber beds equipped with the most modern devices and the use of the epidural anesthesia and Entonox gas for the childbirth with no pain; in addition it is equipped with TV, video, books and pamphlets to educate the mothers by the 24-hour continuous presence of the staff and midwife serving the services for the pregnant women for the initial examinations, training, and guidance in person and/or by phone, as the caesarean surgery would be provided in case of emergency and the minor surgeries, e.g. special facilities in the delivery room.
